The Quarter Section maps are black and white TIFF images. The file size of the Quarter Section maps range from 25 kilobytes to 4.2 megabytes . The TIFF graphics may be inserted into a Microsoft Word™ file or any graphic application capable of using TIFF files. |

| The 2000 and 2003 aerials are color photographs compressed with the Lizard Tech compression technology as MrSID graphics. The file size of the MrSID compressed images range from five to seven megabytes. Although the file size of the MrSID compressed files are 1/6 the size of the black and white 1997 TIFF files, the quality of the MrSID files are superior to the 1997 images. | ||
| Viewing or printing a MrSID compressed file requires additional software. A free plug-in for Microsoft's Internet Explorer ( ' Internet Explorer plug in' ) and a free geoviewer ( 'MrSID GeoViewer' ) are available from Lizard Tech. | ||
